C3i "customers" are corporate employees and/or private individuals who call C3i's Help Desk hotline(s) and use C3i's Workstation Mgmt Services, under a contract between C3i and a corporate organization (the "Client Organization").
For the purposes of providing our helpdesk services, we capture the following personal information on our customers: first name, last name, address, and phone numbers.
The information gathered on customers for the purposes of our Workstation Management Services is similar to the information listed above. In addition, C3i may have access to personal data stored on customer's Personal Computing Device (laptop, desktop, Pocket PC, tablet PC, etc.) while storing it temporarily for purposes of performing hardware repairs on said device.

This information may be held for a period of several years before it is discarded.
How We Use Personal Information
C3i does not sell, distribute, or give your personal information to any third party without your express knowledge and consent and/or that of the organization which contracted us to provide services to you ("Your organization").
It is our policy to protect the privacy of any personally identifiable information shared by our customers. C3i takes data security seriously and provides access permission to systems that contains such data only on a need to know basis.
If/when working with outsourcing partners, these partners are bound to the same privacy rules as we are, as it relates to your/your organization's business relationship with us. Specifically, they are not entitled to share your personal information with any additional third parties, unless expressly approved by you/your organization.
In cases where we have to respond to legal action, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes, there may be a necessity to share information in order to investigate, defend, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
We may also transfer your information incase of any acquisition or merger. This transition would take place with full disclosure of this privacy policy.
Data provided by you is retained as long as the purpose for which the data was collected continues. The data is then destroyed unless its retention is required to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect C3i's interests. As a general rule, the maximum retention period is 7 years.
Information Sharing
The personal data which you provided on this Web Site as well as to C3i via Your Organization, if you are a customer, may be transferred within C3i, including transfers to C3i locations located in other parts of the world which may not have a level of data protection legislation equivalent to those in place in the Europe Economic Area (EEA) or the United States. C3i pledges its intention to meet fully internationally recognized standards of personal data privacy protection and to comply with the requirements of applicable data protection/privacy laws. In doing so, we will ensure compliance by our global staff with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality. By providing your personal information to C3i via our web site our through Your Organization, you consent to such transfer.

C3i recognizes that the receipt and distribution of unwanted emails (Spam) is a major issue. We Spam-check all emails that come to our organization. Out systems identify spam emails and reject them. In addition, C3i may contact enforcement agencies regarding recurring Spam activity on our web site.

C3i will not request or convey any personal information via email or some other unsecured channel. C3i is aware of fake emails that may be authored in such a manner so as to give the impression to the recipient that they were sent from an employee of C3i.
