Siebel Sites Benefit from New Princeton Softech Partnership with C3i
by Darryl Seland, Princeton Softech Newsletter Reporter
Princeton Softech, the market leader in enterprise data management, has formed a strategic partnership with C3i (www.c3i-inc.com). Founded by Joel Morse and Dave Hanaman 1993, C3i began as a specialized help desk service provider and has grown into a trusted full-services leader for Customer Management integration and ongoing support solutions, with many of the world's leading organizations as clients.
One of the C3i's main technology strengths is Siebel®, having implemented numerous applications and modules for its clients. "We do have a best-strength of Siebel expertise and that's how we came to the attention of Princeton Softech," said Jackie Hoover, Vice President of Professional Services for C3i. Princeton Softech required additional Siebel expertise while developing its OptimTM Siebel® Solution and was also looking for a long-term system integration partner to support its Siebel clients.
"We were thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of that actual development effort and truly learn Princeton Softech's solutions from hands-on experience and training," commented Hoover. "This gave us the expertise to really know and understand Princeton Softech's technology. Today, as we are starting to move into the actual implementations at client sites, we have that true, deep knowledge and understanding of the Optim Siebel Solution because we participated in the development process."
Turning Knowledge into Business Value
C3i has already turned the knowledge of Optim technology into business value for two telecommunications giants. "We did implementations at the sites and were able to use some of the resources that were part of the development effort for the Optim Siebel Solution," said Hoover.
Many of C3i's clients are realizing that after three or more years of operation, their Siebel applications have collected millions of customer records. In addition, Oracle is always improving its product with updates and encouraging its clients take advantage of the newest capabilities in newer versions of its Siebel solutions. Both of these factors have made C3i's understanding of Princeton Softech Optim's archiving capabilities that much more important for C3i's clients as they learn about the value of archiving and its benefits during Siebel upgrades. "To us, the Optim Siebel Solution is an excellent complement to our services to help our clients manage their complete Siebel environment," said Hoover.
"This partnership combines the best practice benefits of Princeton Softech Optim's enterprise data management capabilities and C3i's advanced knowledge of implementing the Siebel application platform," said Steve Tallant, Director, Product Line Management. "Our mutual clients will benefit from improved Siebel operational efficiencies, lower cost of ownership and a greater return on investment."
Serving Clients Across Industries
While C3i tends to focus on the life sciences industry, this partnership has given C3i an opportunity to support Princeton Softech clients across industries. Together, Princeton Softech and C3i help Siebel sites address specific issues, such as managing data growth and streamlining application upgrades. "Working with Princeton Softech to support our mutual clients is just a win-win-win partnership and a great opportunity," said Hoover.
