C3i to Implement Siebel ePharma 2000 for Berlex Laboratories' 800 Users
New York, NY, [September 4, 2001] - C3i, Inc, a leading provider of eBusiness services for the Life Sciences industry, announced that it has been selected by Berlex Laboratories, Inc., a U.S. affiliate of Schering AG (NYSE:SHR), Germany, to provide comprehensive implementation services for the company's transition to Siebel ePharma 2000. The agreement builds on a three-year relationship between the organizations, during which C3i has provided the Montville and Wayne, New Jersey-based pharmaceutical company with help desk, roll-out, and consulting services.

C3i will provide EndtoEnd Implementation services-which include business consulting, integration, web-based learning, instructor led training, support, and production support-as Berlex Laboratories makes the transition from its current salesforce automation technology platform to Siebel ePharma 2000. Included in the implementation is the Siebel ePharma Data Analytics module.
The implementation will facilitate integrated sales, service, and marketing activities of 800 users. Berlex Laboratories researches, manufactures and markets ethical pharmaceuticals in five strategic areas: female healthcare, diagnostic imaging, dermatology, oncology and therapeutics for life-threatening and disabling diseases.
